Results of parliamentary elections held in the following years are available:

The United Arab Republic had a unicameral parliament, the National Assembly.
In 1971, the name of the country was changed from the United Arab Republic to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The People's Assembly replaced the National Assembly, pursuant to the new Constitution adopted in 1971.
Between 1980 and 2013, the Egyptian Parliament was bicameral, comprising the People's Assembly (lower chamber) and the Shoura Assembly (upper chamber). The new Constitution, adopted in January 2014, provides for a unicameral parliament, the House of Representatives.


The following statistics refer to elections to the Shoura Assembly held in 2007, 2010 and 2012.
