Note on the 2012 renewal
- Indirect elections to renew one third of the 233 elective seats of the Rajya Sabha began on 19 January 2012 and will finish by the end of July 2012.
- The current number of members and number of women members on the general information page refers to the statistics compiled before the 2012 renewal.
- As at 14 March 2012, there were 24 women out of 238 members.
