PARLIAMENTARY MEETING ON THE OCCASION OF THE XX INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE
Melbourne (Australia), 21 July 2014

AIDS 2014IPU, UNDP and UNAIDS will be holding a Parliamentary Meeting on the occasion of the XX International AIDS Conference.  The meeting will take place at the State Parliament of Victoria in Melbourne on Monday, 21 July, from 2.30 to 6.30 p.m. 

The Parliamentary Meeting will provide members of parliament with up-to-date information on issues related to the HIV epidemic, and will serve as a forum for an exchange of views on major issues affecting the AIDS response.  The working language of the Parliamentary Meeting will be English only.

The Parliamentary Meeting will take place independently of the International AIDS Conference and that registration for it will not grant access to the Conference itself.  In order to attend the International AIDS Conference, each delegate will have to register at www.aids2014.org, where helpful information may also be found about hotels and visa requirements.  Such logistical matters remain the sole responsibility of participants
