IPU engages with major United Nations processes, and so brings a parliamentary perspective to UN deliberations.
We hold parliamentary meetings at sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
We have regular parliamentary meetings at the Commission on the Status of Women, as well as information seminars on parliaments and the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
Since July 2016, we have been organizing parliamentary side events at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development.
We hold parliamentary forums at High-Level Meetings of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC). IPU represents parliaments on the Steering Committee of the GPEDC.
