New publication
Combatting human trafficking
Handbook for parliamentarians on Combating Trafficking in Persons The IPU and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime recently launched a Handbook for parliamentarians on Combating Trafficking in Persons. The Handbook begins by stressing that trafficking in persons is a form of modern-day slavery – a human rights violation that constitutes a crime against the individual and the State.
