Parliaments’ Role in Linking Good Security Sector Governance to SDG16 amid COVID-19

This video will take you on a journey to discover how parliaments contribute to the governance of the security sector around the world. You will meet parliamentarians from four different countries who share their experiences on how parliamentary oversight of the security sector contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 16 on peace, justice and strong institutions. They will also discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted parliaments’ ability to provide effective oversight and share some lessons learned.
