The IPU Parliamentary Meeting is the leading event for national parliaments during the 31st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31). This longstanding initiative will bring together parliamentarians from around the world to turn climate commitments into concrete implementation.

The Parliamentary Meeting, jointly organized by the IPU and the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, will be held at the Ethno Belek Hotel, Antalya. The meeting will conclude with the adoption of an outcome document.

Registration Deadline: 2 November 2026.

Delegations may comprise up to three parliamentarians and one staff member for unicameral parliaments, and five parliamentarians and two staff members for bicameral parliaments.

The IPU will host an official side event at COP31 entitled “Parliaments Breaking Silos and Building Partnerships to Accelerate Methane Action.” The event will take place on 19 November 2026, from 18:30 to 20:00, in Side Event Room 6 - KATİP ÇELEBİ. Please note: Access to the event is limited to parliamentarians registered for COP31. 

The organizers cannot assist with COP31 accreditation or logistics (visas, accommodation, transportation).
