Effective mentorship relationships provide guidance, knowledge transfer and support networks. In this context, experienced MPs can be important mentors and role-models for young women in their quest for a rightful place in politics.

The briefing will:

• Showcase mentorship programmes and initiatives supporting young women’s political empowerment.
• Facilitate intergenerational dialogue and exchange of experiences between senior and young MPs and civil society actors.
• Identify strategies to strengthen mentorship networks for enhanced youth political participation.
