Global Parliamentary Forum at the World Health Assembly

Summary

The Global Parliamentary Forum at the World Health Assembly (WHA) is open to any parliamentarians attending the Assembly as part of their national delegations. 

Organized by the IPU and the World Health Organization, the Forum will take place at the WHO HQ Main Building (Building A) in Geneva. The meeting will focus on key issues and decisions on the WHA agenda, aiming to identify how parliaments can support follow-up actions and implementation. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with health experts and explore ways to strengthen cooperation with relevant health actors. 

The Forum will take place on 20 May from 13:00-14:30.

Open to Members of Parliament, Member State Representatives, civil society, youth organizations and other stakeholders and partners attending WHA79.
