Seminar on Achieving the SDGs for the IPU’s Twelve Plus Geopolitical Group and East Asia Parliaments

The Knesset and the Inter-Parliamentary Union are jointly organizing a seminar on parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the IPU’s Twelve Plus Geopolitical Group and East Asia parliaments. The seminar will take place in Jerusalem from 20 to 22 November 2018 and will be part of a series of IPU regional seminars to advance the work and contribution of parliaments to the SDGs. The seminar will provide a platform to share experiences, engage in comprehensive discussions and get acquainted with good practices in developing effective parliamentary mechanisms for SDGs implementation.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the promotion of innovation in combination with other relevant SDGs components, such as water, renewable energies, and women.
