This webinar will bring together parliamentarians, WHO experts and partner organizations to explore the importance of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) as a fundamental component of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and to discuss the political choices and parliamentary leadership needed to advance SRHR through UHC.

The webinar will introduce the new IPU–WHO parliamentary brief Committing to sexual and reproductive health and rights through universal health coverage: An investment in people and highlight practical actions parliamentarians can take to strengthen legislation, financing, oversight and accountability. The dialogue will take place in English with simultaneous interpretation provided in French, Spanish and Arabic.
