The event will bring together parliamentarians attending the World Health Assembly (WHA) as part of their national delegations and other stakeholders to discuss the key role of parliamentarians in global health processes so as to advance health for all through their core functions of legislation, budgeting, oversight and representation. This concerted effort will contribute to positioning health at the core of parliamentary agendas to address persistent and emerging health challenges. The overall scope is to provide parliamentarians with information and tools on how to translate WHA priorities into country level actions.

The event is open to WHA delegates and accredited personnel.
