This year marks the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. UNSCR1325 was the first to address the impact of armed conflict on women, as well as women’s contribution to conflict resolution and sustainable peace.
This is a partnership video project between the IPU, Arizona State University, Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians, the Council of Women World Leaders, United Nations, UN Women, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, World Pulse, and Women Political Leaders. The videos are designed for people working in and for parliaments, and for societal champions advocating for change.
