Handbook: A Guide to Parliamentary Practice

This Handbook is a practical guide on parliaments and their working methods. It is a tool for officials of international organisations who interact with parliaments to promote co-operation between these organisations and parliaments. It also provides useful hints to parliamentarians on the work of international organisations and how they can access the resources available in these organisations in the accomplishment of their mandate. The Handbook focuses on the policies and strategies of UNESCO with whose cooperation it has been written.
