Key findings from the World e-Parliament Report 2024

Summary

The digital age continues to reshape our world at an unprecedented pace, and parliaments are no exception to this rule. The World e-Parliament Report 2024 provides a comprehensive assessment of the use of digital technology in parliaments worldwide. This edition introduces the IPU Digital Maturity Index, a new benchmarking tool that ranks parliaments across six key areas.

Join the presentation to learn about and discuss the Report’s key findings, from the rise of artificial intelligence and cloud computing to the ubiquity of social media.

The presentation will be held twice. The two sessions will have the same content but will take place at different times in order to enable participants in different time zones to attend. Participants can indicate in the registration form which session they wish to join. This webinar is part of the Transforming Parliaments webinar series organized by IPU’s Centre for Innovation in Parliament.
