Parliamentary Track at the Internet Governance Forum 2025

Summary

The 20th Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2025) takes place from 23 to 27 June 2025 in Lillestrøm (Norway) under the overarching themes of Building Digital Governance Together. Within IGF 2025, a dedicated Parliamentary Track takes place from 23 to 24 June.

Parliamentarians from relevant parliamentary committees and parliamentarians who work on digital affairs and Internet policy issues will engage in dialogue with the private sector, the technical community and civil society, including youth, on challenges and potential solutions for in creating an inclusive, risk-free, ethical, and sustainable digital space.

The Parliamentary Track at the IGF 2025 is jointly organized by the United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs, the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Norwegian Storting.

To participate in the Parliamentary Track, Members of Parliament and staff – whether they plan to join the IGF in Lillestrøm or online – are required to register. The main IGF registration system will open in coming weeks.
