In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the IPU will be working differently over the next few weeks to protect the health of our staff and in the interests of social responsibility to prevent the further spread of the virus through human contact.
The IPU will temporarily reduce its physical presence in its Geneva and New York offices with most staff working from home in line with recommendations from the World Health Organization and local authorities.
We will continue to provide maximum support to our Members and partners in the weeks ahead by using alternative means to deliver on our mandate of empowering parliaments and parliamentarians to promote peace, democracy and sustainable development.
