Here, Asia Yaghi, a senator from Jordan discusses her journey as a parliamentarian and how her parliament supports gender equality. She is the Chairwoman of the Disability Committee of the Senate of Jordan and president of “I am Human”, an organization which advocates for the rights of people with disabillity.
