Webinar for Parline Correspondents

Summary

The webinar is an opportunity for Parline Correspondents from all parliaments (regardless of whether or not they are IPU members) to meet with the IPU staff who manage the Parline database and to exchange information with their peers in other parliaments.

The main goal of the webinar is to begin a regular exchange with Parline Correspondents and to further develop the Parline Correspondents Network. An overview of Parline and the role of Parline Correspondents will be provided, supported by peer experience. It will be an opportunity for Parline Correspondents to ask questions, provide feedback and interact with each other and the Parline team. The webinar also serves as a means for identifying regional focal points that can help liaise with regional counterparts, including IPU non-member parliaments.

The webinar is primarily intended for Parline Correspondents, but is also open to other parliamentary staff. The role of Parline Correspondents is described at https://data.ipu.org/content/parliaments.

Parliaments that have not yet designated a Parline Correspondent can contact Ms. Addie Erwin at [email protected] for further information.

In order to allow participation from all regions, three one-hour sessions will be held on Tuesday, 6 April.

  • 08:00 – 09:00 (CEST): English only
  • 14:00 – 15:00 (CEST): Interpretation in English, French and Arabic
  • 16:00 – 17:00 (CEST): Interpretation in English and Spanish

Registration deadline: 31 March 2021
